Dr Lim has
worked extensively in the field of Orthopaedic and
Rehabilitation Medicine, with a special interest and
expertise in biomechanics and sports medicine.
As
Clinical Director of
Inliven Center for Osteoarthritis Solutions, Dr
Lim focuses on the non- surgical management and
treatment of musculoskeletal conditions arising from
joint pain and knee osteoarthritis through
rehabilitation, pain management and biomechanics, as
well as physical therapy.
In more than 10 years of clinical practice and with
a focus on musculoskeletal work (muscle and joint
disorders), he has treated the entire spectrum of
people with arthritis and osteoarthritis, from
athletes to disabled people, teenagers with severe
osteoarthritis to elderly with mild arthritis and is
also a regular speaker at public health talks on the
topics of Knee Pain and Osteoarthritis.
A graduate
from the National University of Singapore, Dr Lim
obtained his Clinical Exercise Specialist
certification with the American College of Sports
Medicine and his Sports Medicine Certification with
the Singapore National Olympic Committee –
International Olympic Committee.
Dr Lim is
the Medical Adviser to the Muscular Dystrophy
Association of Singapore and is actively involved in
the sports medicine and sports science scene in
Singapore. He is the Honorary Secretary of the
Sports Medicine Association of Singapore,
represented Singapore as a sports physician in the
Inaugural Asian Youth Games held in Singapore in
August 2009 and the Inaugural Summer Youth Olympics
held in Singapore in August 2010, the 26th SEA Games
held in Jakarta in November 2011 and was the Chief
Medical Officer for the Singapore Contingent for the
2nd Asian Youth Games in Nanjing held in August
2013.
