Overview
Pressure sores may be visible after a full-body examination of
a person.
They are usually found on weight-bearing areas of the body, or bony areas
of the body. The places to watch for pressure sores are the base of the
spine (tailbone), heels, hips, and other places where bones are close to
the skin.
